Beneficiaries: Indian graduate students pursuing Masters and Ph.D courses abroad
Eligibility:
1) Have Atleast 60% marks or equivalent grade for the qualifying exam, For Masters: Qualifying exam is Bachelor’s. For PhD, Qualifying exam is Master’s.
2) The applicant must be of age 35 or less on 1st April of the selection year
3) Total Family Income per annum must not exceed 8 lakhs per annum.
4) College/University must be ranked in top 500 as per QS World Rankings
5) Applicant must belong to OBC/SC/EWS or DNT community.
6) There are 6 seats out of 125 reserved for DNT and Semi Nomadic Tribes

During Application:
1. 10th Board Certificate
2. DNT Certificate
3. Photo
4. Scanned Signature
5. Current Address proof/Permanent Address Proof, in case different from current address
6. Qualifying Degree/Provisional Certificate
7. Mark sheet of qualifying examination
8. Valid Document regarding admission in Foreign University- Admission offer should be unconditional
9. Income documents of all family members
10. Employer’s NOC Certificate if applicant is employed. Gap certificate in case there is gap of more than 6 months after completing qualifying degree.
11. ITR acceptance document.
12. Aadhar Card
Important Timelines
1) Portal Opens from 15th February to 31st March of each year for Round 1 of selections.
2)Application will be processed in 20-30 days.
3) Selection Committee will take 15 days to evaluate the application.
4) The final list will be shared within the first week of September.
5) Round 2 Applications for the next selection year will begin in first week of September.
