The Portal provides the facility for transgender person to apply for certificate and identity card from across the country without physical interface through a seamless end to end mechanism. The Transgender certificate & identity card are nationally recognised and provided by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, the certificate is a mandatory document to avail the welfare measures being provided under the SMILE scheme.
The applicant can monitor, edit, track the status of their application through their login id ensuring transparency throughout the procedure. They are also provided with a grievance redressal mechanism wherein, the applicant can post their grievances pertaining to delay in the certification process which would be then forwarded to the concerned authority for resolution at the earliest. The portal acts as a facilitator between the districts authorities and beneficiaries for easy access to Transgender Certificate and Identity Cards as per their self-perceived identity which is an important provision of The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 & Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2020.

- The site is user friendly and can be easily accessed through mobile, computer or laptop.
- The portal can be accessed in multiple languages currently available in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam and Bengali.
- The Applicant can login to the site for issuing certificate and identity card from the Applicant Registration page.
- A manual in the form of PDF has been created for the applicant to see step by step procedure to register for the certification. Manual
- The applicant can track updates on the certificate through their login ID.

- The portal assists in sending timely reminders to district authorities to expedite the process of issuing certificates and identity cards to applicants to alleviate unnecessary delays by making the process transparent to the beneficiaries.
- The applicants have a facility to post grievances through their login ID which are transferred to concerned authorities for quick problem resolution.
- To assess beneficiary satisfaction, a satisfaction form regarding the service is also provided to the applicant to submit their suggestions and rate the service out of a score of 10.
