A. Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Schools for OBC, EBC & DNT Students
Beneficiaries: Students in Classes 9th entering and 11th to 12th
Eligibility : Students Entering Class 10th and 12th, with Total Family Income: Less than 2.5 Lakhs, 30% Reservation for Girl Students, Students studying at top class schools as listed here.
Benefit: Grants will be provided for tuition fee, hostel fee and other charges as required by the school, subject to a maximum of Rs. 75,000/- every year per student of class 9 and 10 and Rs. 1,25,000/- per annum per student of class 11 and 12.

3. Educational qualification marksheets/certificates
4. Valid Income certificate issued by the competent Authority
5. Domicile Certificate
6. Caste/Community Certificate issued by the competent authority
7. Disability certificate, if applicable

Application Process:
1) Registration on the National Scholarship Portal
2) Providing details of marks recieved in the previous year’s annual examination
3)Providing bank account details
4) Shortlisting of selected students and direct transfer through DBT to student’s bank account

B. Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Colleges for OBC,EBC& DNT Students
Beneficiaries: College and Graduation Students
Eligibility: Total Family Annual Income: Less than 2.5Lakhs, Student must be OBC, DNT or EBC to be eligible, 30% Reservation for Girl Students, Students must have gotten admission into one of the colleges listed here
1) Scholarship of Rs. 2 lakhs per annum per student for Private sector institutions
2)Living Expenses of Rs.3000, Books & Stationery of 5,000/annum
3) Latest Computer/Laptop of Rs.45,000.

4. Valid Income certificate issued by the competent Authority

6. Caste/Community Certificate issued by the competent authority
7. Disability certificate, if applicable

10. Proof of fee details to claim the scholarship
Application Process:
1) Students who have been selected on the basis of merit as per various competitive exams can apply.
2) Eligible Students can apply for the scheme on the National Scholarship Portal where they will have to upload their income certificate and caste certificate, along with details of their bank account, admission rank and fee details. The institution will confirm all of these details and then forward them to the Ministry.
Important Timelines: At time of admission into the institute, or at the start of the new academic year (for renewal)
C. Pre Matric Scholarship
Beneficiaries: Students in Class 9th and 10th
Eligibility: Total Family Annual Income: Less than 2.5Lakhs, Student must be OBC, DNT or EBC to be eligible, 30% Reservation for Girl Students, 5% Reservation for Persons with Disabilities
Benefits: Academic Allowance of 4,000Rs. per annum

Application Process: Signing up on the YASASVI Website and applying on the portal
Important Timelines: Submission of Application on Portal – 1st April to 30th June| Verification by the Institutions- 31st July| Verification by the States 15th August | Scholarship Amount released by 30th September
D. Post Metric Scholarship
Beneficiaries: Students in Class 10th, Students in Class 12th, Students applying for MA, PhD, Bachelor’s , Post Graduate Diplomas
Eligibility: Total Family Annual Income: Less than 2.5 Lakhs, Student must be of OBC, EBC or DNT community.

1. Registration by Student on the YASASVI Portal much before the start of college
2. Application for FREESHIP CARD which will be issued by the State Government, this makes the student eligible to study in the institution without pre-payment of fees
3. The scholarship amount is disbursed as the student begins their academic session
Scholarships remain open throughout the year to apply for a Freeship card Portal Opens on 1st of April every year.
